D 3. BEGUR, village of the "Indians" (!!)

The hike follows the GR 92 and the Cami de Ronda leading to the magnificent "cales" of SA TUNA and AIGUAFREDA. We reach the castle of Begur for an incomparable panorama of the delta of the river Ter and the Costa Brava. Strolling through the town, you will be amazed by the rich bourgeois residences

colonial style built by Catalans who made their fortune in the Americas.

A peaceful stroll through ancient dunes and beautiful pine forests to reach the historic village

of Pals, crowned by a promontory from which

Short climb to the curious Montgri castle overlooking the Ter delta and the Empordà plain.

The panoramas extend into the distance to the massif of Canigó. Free afternoon or boat trip around the Medes Islands, a nature reserve.
