"Cami Ral" from Olot to Vic The historic route of Collsacabra
Landscapes full of charm and harmony The "Cami Ral" ("Cami Reial" or the Royal Way, the main road) was, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, the privileged link between the two economic and cultural capitals: Olot and Vic. Used by generations of muleteers, merchants and pilgrims on their way to Montserrat and Compostela, its astonishingly diverse route is today mostly off the beaten track.
Our itineraries explore the characteristic landscapes of inland Catalonia: a setting shaped by centuries of agriculture and livestock farming, vast natural spaces and an elegant rural heritage illustrated by the superb architecture of RUPIT, one of the most beautiful villages in the Catalan countries.

By road: Head to Olot for a short transfer to the first accommodation of your stay. By train: Meet at GIRONA train station and transfer to the site by taxi or minibus.
