The "Cami Ral" (the royal way, the main road)
was the privileged link between the two economic and cultural capitals from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
Used by generations of muleteers, merchants and pilgrims
on their way to Montserrat and Compostela,
its astonishingly and diverse route is now
an obligatory destination for walkers.
Our itineraries explore the characteristic landscapes of inland Catalonia: a setting shaped by centuries of agriculture and livestock farming, vast natural spaces and an elegant rural heritage illustrated by the superb architecture of RUPIT, one of the most beautiful villages in the Catalan countries.
ACCESS
By road: Welcome at Olot for a short transfer to the first accommodation of your tour.
By train: Meet up at GIRONA train station for one hour transfer by taxi or minibus.
