CAP de CREUS NATURAL PARC
Salvador Dali's land of dreams
The peninsula named “Cape of Crosses” covers over 13000 ha. It boasts rich bio-diversity, a healthy marine ecosystem, endemic plants and flowers and exceptional landscapes.
The combination of both marine and inland environments, the amazing silhouettes of rocks sculpted by sea and wind and the contrasts in colour display a fascinating atmosphere of wild beauty.
A main source of inspiration for Dali, whose house can be visited near Cadaquès, it is the perfect location for a leisurely break.
Some areas classified as "total reserve" are ideal for birdwatching. Architectural masterpieces like the Benedictine monastery Sant Pere de Rodes are also present.
The final trail is a coastline walk leading to the beautiful bay of Roses.
