We have selected long time forgotten sections of the famous pilgrim's way. Walkers follow original paths leading to emblematic abbeys and monasteries. Outstanding churches, chapels and hermitages can also be discovered.
*itinerary 1: from Perpignan in ROUSSILLON to the mountains of CANIGOU and the plateau of CERDAGNE.
On the way: architectural masterpieces like monasteries
St MARTIN du CANIGOU, St MICHEL de CUIXA and the fortified town of Villefranche de Conflent.The “Petit Train Jaune”, one of the highest railway lines in Europe,
brings you back to starting point.

*Itinerary 2 starts from the port of COLLIOURE,
follows the VALLESPIR valley (abbey of ARLES
sur TECH) to Col d'Ares before going down on the
southern side of the Pyrenees. (link with itinerary 3)
*Itinerary 3 proceeds from the famous monastery of MONTSERRAT, visits the spectacularly located St PERE
de CASSERES, ending up at SANTA MARIA de RIPOLL, where the first Counts of Barcelona were buried.
